Hence the name, I'm a stay at home mom to 4 amazing kiddos, one of which has aspergers syndrome. I have 3 sons and 1 daughters. I am a cook, a housekeeper, a parent, a teacher, a referee, a nanny, a nurse, a handy man, a MAID, security, and a comforter. I don't get holiday, sick pay, or a day off, I work through the day and some of the night, I am under paid and over worked, now tell me that YOUR job is harder than mine! Oh and did I mention I'm also a zoo keeper, 26 chickens, 5 cats, lots of fish and a frog! Where are the stay at home moms and or house wifes?

My youngest is 6 years and in Kindergarten, I like being home...but with all my kids in school it's time to figure out what I'm going to do with my life, I would love to go to college as well.

Yep, I'm one too (2 kids - a 17 year old daughter and a 13 year old son)...have been for the past 18 years and I have no intentions of changing that once the kids are gone. I've done the whole corporate world and I'm not interested in working outside the home ever again. This is the hardest yet best job I've ever had and then only other "job" I'm looking forward to is being a grandma someday

I am a SAHM to a six year old dd who started kindergarten last year. Yes it is one of the hardest but most rewarding jobs you can ask for!

Our collage has a great upgrading course for adults who did finish highschool(like me) or ones who have but want to refresh or get better grade, this course offers the subjects like chem, english, math so that you can apply for a course through collage or university. If I take a course through my collage then they will add 10 % to my mark, as nursing is competitive the adv grades a student needs is a high 90's this will help so much! They also offer daycare costs and transportation cost along with all textbooks supplies my cost so far is 0.

I'm a SAHM, too. I have a 2 year old boy, a 15 year old bunny, and 8 chickens. My husband works part-time and goes to school full time. I do temporary work when I can find it (rarely), and I am trying to find a part-time job, but... I've been trying for a year and no such luck! It sucks, I have a degree and love my field. There are just no jobs. But, the bright side is that I get to stay home with my wonderful little boy
