it surely is! i wouldn't trade if for anything though. oh of course i have my bad days and i wonder why i ever made this choice, but the rewards are great and i'm pretty content. there isn't time to be bored, that's for sure!

I, too, am a stay-at-home Mom. I have a 3 children (ages 7, 8, and 9). I do have a college degree, but I think being at home for my kids is better than any job.

My youngest is 6 years and in Kindergarten, I like being home...but with all my kids in school it's time to figure out what I'm going to do with my life, I would love to go to college as well.

Look into dental hygiene! There aren't many jobs right now (no one can afford to clean their teeth with the economy this way) but it should pick up again. Great hours, you are helping people, it is interesting, and the pay isn't half bad.

SAHM here too. Three of my children are grown and gone but we have five adopted kids with a lot of special needs who need me at home. And of course I have all these chickens and turkeys and horses to care for. I too have a college degree and I sometimes feel like I should be DOING something but I do so enjoy cooking, gardening, canning and playing with my animals all day.

I am a stay at home mom as well. I have 5 kids. Two boys ages 17 and 14 and three girls ages 10, 9, and 7. I was working at the school for about a year that my daughters attend, part time. I recently left that job with the plan of going back to school after my husband got back from a 3 week duty (He is a Marine). But there has been SO much going on with the kids, and now we have taken in my mother (not going well) that we decided I should just go back to being home with the kids. Being home is more than a full time job, and my kids need me more than we need the money. (My hat is off to all the single Moms out there. 3 weeks with my husband gone and I know I could not do all this without him.)

I am a sahm also to 4 kiddos, one who is of special needs and the baby is probably the grumpiest infant on the planet LOL. Anyone who says we moms at home dont work should try it out with my Eriella for a day
