Where are you from?????

I mostly just tell folks that I live at the south end of the chesapeake bay ever since all the new people started calling this place hampton roads nobody can find us anyway. the exact place I live we only got one bridge that goes out of here you come across that bridge and you are going to a dead end no signs telling of this and about 3-4 miles before you find this out and when you get to the end there is just graveyards and old pig pens LOL folks all the time getting " lost" here thinking they found a " short cut" LOL

I live in Knoxville, Tennessee. I am so jelous of all you Florida people. I freeze my butt of every day feeding them, and this morning I got to bust ice. Right now my quail are survivors of a mud slide. Thank God the cages didn't flip. I just wish it would quit raining. I will probably be wearing my waders out to the cages come spring.

People, don't be paranoid, you do not have to advertise the town or even county you live in, but something like State of part of the state would be close enough to help answer questions where location or climat matters.

I do not think any crooks will be after me after I disclose my location, in my case Tampa Bay (Fl) which is much smaller area tham most states.

Yeah, I'm not expecting everyone to put your address in your profile.........or your current town for that matter. It's just that when I read posts from people on this forum (and others), I kinda want to know what part of the country (of world for that matter) you're from........at least the state. And I really don't think there's much to worry about when doing this...........when it comes to such as identity theft, crazies coming after you, etc...........

It gets cold here. I live in the microclimate area so when it is dry everywhere in FL, it is pouring where I am at! grrrrr... Last winter we had little bits of snow in Fort Myers...definitely not Chicago weather, but it gets to jacket weather.

I usually don't mind the cold unless my waterers freeze. Then I get mad and stick a heat lamp over it and complain about the cost of electricity. My birds are smart though. They peck little holes in the ice so they can drink.

darn cold here in my neck of the woods right now too and its only november, I might have to wait till spring to get my quail out of the spare room lol.. dh is going to freak.

Brooksville Get Quite Cold Too. I Have To Deal With Frozen Water Fonts And Whatnot Same As Most Of You, But By 10 Am They Thaw Enough For The Birds To Drink.
