Thanks for the advice BHep. I'll try my best to remember the "one day at a time" motto when we're mid crisis here.

It is confusing for many. No problem! I am just glad he is well cared for, in school, and that kid is gonna have an AWESOME Christmas!!!

My life is definitely not where I imagined it would be when I wasted time imagining such things 20 years ago - divorced, no children, etc., etc. However, rather than dwell on the "didn't happen the way I planned," I try to concentrate on the "WOW, I'm so lucky to have experienced..." and try to wake-up every morning with the fact that I am blessed at the forefront of my mind. Plenty of things I wouldn't mind changing in my life, and do what I can to realize those changes, but know also that life doesn't always work the way you think it will.

Cindiloo - you have my heartfelt admiration - I'm sure there will be struggles ahead, but also lots of joy and happy surprises.

Aw, that's a good way to think over things! I'm still young, I have plans for the future... I suppose I'll most likely have to adopt a similar way of thinkiing because life likes to throw surprises at me when I'm least expecting it. Me and life's surprises are on very familiar terms.
