If my Lorps insist on being broody every other month, I might as well give them something to do...
I checked eBay (i know it's off season) and I saw a lot of ads for $60+ (not including shipping) for SIX eggs.
It's that the normal Price? If so, I'll move down the list for breeds I'd like.
Thank you!

I would check the breeder listings for hatching eggs with the Ameraucana Breeders Club for a breeder near you. Many “fishy” sales via EBay. This way you can be sure to get what you pay for and get the specific colors that you want. $10 per EGG seems high to me. You can expect to pay $15-20 for a chick. Good luck.😊

A true pure bred chick will be at least $20 each. Make sure to ask to see the parents. And ask about other chickens in the flock to make sure you aren't getting easter egger eggs.
Yeah, $20 per chick is too expensive for me, which is why I'm considering hatching them. I don't mind easter egger except for their looks, 90% of them are rather thugly, ( imo.)

I checked the breeders club, thank you for that tip, I found a breeder just over an hour from me. I haven't contacted her yet, but it's good to find a possible contact.
