Where did Number 11 go? Mystery Solved!!

The Mystery is solved...It was my rooster he was eating the eggs.

From 11 to 7 eggs!

I am so mad!! He had been with her twice when she has went broody and has never touched the eggs nor chicks..

This was one of my fav roo's but I can't have egg eating so I rehomed him this morning.

I'm really gonna miss that fellow!!!!!!!!!!!

I went out this morning to do my rounds. Feed and water and check up on everyone. I check on my hen and for the past 2 days she had not moved from her nest. As I was leaving she came out for food and water as I turned around to head back to the chicken coop. I saw him rushing out of the coop with an egg i was stunned as I watched him digg out the little chick and eat it. Looked like the chick was forming on about 10 days what it should be. I was heartbroken!

I'm guessing it was alive when I got the egg it had good blood vessles in it and the chick look nice and healthy it was very small.
