Where did you first meet your Husband/Wife?

We met in High School, but went to rival schools. We both worked at Krogers, she was a cashier and I worked in Produce. I thought she was attractive, so one day on her break she walked by produce with her best friend. I waved and said "Hello ladies!" They both giggled and walked on without saying anything to me. I thought to myself "IDIOT!"...but it all worked out eventually. I think it was her friend that ended up making the connection that we liked each other and set us up on our first date. 10 years later and 2 kids with the third due any day.

We met at work at work!! I was 16 he was 21. He waited until i was 18 to ask me out. We got married a year and a half later. I was 19 and he was 23. We been married going on 3 years now.

We were both in the Marines and met when we were stationed together in Hawaii. We have been married 26 years.

I went with my bestfriend to visit her boyfriend. I needed my car looked at. She just knew he could fix it. Anyways I was already engaged to my highschool sweetheart. Her boyfriend had his bestfriend over and he was a cutie. I was having issues with my fiance and......I decided to go out with the cutie. I did break off the engagement before the first date!!! To wrap it all up we've been married almost 15 years and have 3 kiddos. I thank my exfinace for being such a butt!!! If he hadn't I wouldn't have ever gone out with David and have my wonderful life!

I just found this post! Short version of a long story. I was working in the educational field and engaged to someone else. A teacher friend introduced me to the new b-ball coach and history teacher. Needless to say, I broke my engagement, dated the new teacher for exactly 2 months, got married. He later became the Principal of our H.S. for 28 years. lol We have been married for 40s this April. He is the love of my life.

I met my future husband when I handed him my resume. I was told to leave it with Pete because the head of Airport Noise Abatement who was going to hire me said Pete was the only guy in Airport Operations that he could trust to get the resume to him.

I didn't take much notice of Pete, but after I got the Noise Abatement job, another guy in my new office who had been good friends with Pete for over ten years and kept talking him up to me. Pete was also good at the NY Times crossword puzzle.

This is a cool thread! I am surprised to see so many online marriages. I think it is cool! My uncle met his wife online, and she had a daughter who is now my best friend!

I met my husband at a Church meeting, when I was about nine and he was ten. He kept saying he was going to hitchhike out and marry me, we lived seven hours away.

So, after growing up together, we have now been married almost 6 years, and have 3 kids. And I say I am the luckiest girl in the world!
