Where did you get your hardware mesh?

I have two rolls that are I believe 3' high and 5' long that I paid $12 for each. I would sell them to you for $22 plus the shipping if interested. I don't NEED them, but they were extras I got and I'm sure one day I could use them if I kept them...up to you just thought I'd throw it out there. I got them at my local Hornungs hardware store though.

I found some at Grainger. They didn't carry it at the local store, but shipped it from a different store, free of charge. $82.95 for a roll 48" x 50'. Thanks everybody!!

The welded wire "hardware cloth" is EXPENSIVE when compared to "Chicken Wire. Where possible, use Chicken Wire, available at most any Lumber Supply Store ( used for stucco work)

The chicken wire (priced here yesterday) costs approx. 9 cents per square foot. ( 150 foot roll 36" wide = $37.00)

just my 2 pesos worth,

Ace hardware stores, Lowes lumber stores, Home Depo also has it. Unlike Some I will not use chicken wire again. I have it now and it is rusting like crazy after only one year. Also it only holds the chicks in. The preditors can get through at will. I put my chicks in a preditor proof coop at night. I found both the hardware cloth or as some call it rat wire, and the 2X4 wire at these places. Hope this helps some. Yes they are more expensive to start with but can save you down the road. Unfortunately, I can't risk chicken wire. We live on the river and are overrun with raccoons. I have to cover the entire coop and run with hardware cloth.
