Where do I go to learn this chicken language?

I think everyone is still learning for the most part. God knows I am. Basically what I do, when I don't understand something is ask..sometimes I am too embarrassed so I will pm them and ask the question. lol...

Yes, I'm taking advanced chicken math. I started in feb with 6 chicks. Got 5 more two weeks ago and then built a bator.

I told dh we were going to build another coop in the spring.

Welcome JustMandy!

I learned a lot when my kids started 4H and I "made" them take a chicken project because I wanted chickens and was too old to participate in 4H! LOL

Also, I spend a lot of time out here reading and when I want to know something, I just search the forums for certain topics.

Good luck and have fun! I'm seriously addicted now and you will be too!

Facebook--what's that? I am strong enough to admit that I WAS A FACEBOOKAHOLIC until I got my own little 'farm' & got off farmtown AND farmville...now I get outside more & watch the real things.
As far as 'learning' this stuff...I think it's more along the lines of 'on the job training!'

X2 had to stop playing all those games and now my birds, horses and dogs get a lot more attention!

It's sad that it took a couple of games to give me the idea to have a farm of my own, huh? But we each learn our life lessons in different ways. I still get on FB to keep up with long distance friends & find out what's going on with closer ones, but not like I did before. REAL LIFE is soooo much better, especially when you're bringing in farm fresh eggs to enjoy!

edited for spelling 'cause I haven't had enough caffiene...
