Where Do YOU Get/Rescue Battery Hens From?

If I could, five chickens would mean the person needs one whole chicken coop. And no abuse would be made to the chickens.

I've been looking to try to rescue some battery hens for a while but have had no luck finding any. Does anyone know of any battery farms around Washington County NY or any in Vermont?
