Where do you go to get your chick/chicken feed and whats the average price?

I was worrying I wouldn't be able to find a feed store around here (not many chicken keepers) Well that's a relief

The cost seems to be pretty good for me too
 
Whole corn from the elevator $10/100 lbs. They also have chick-go medicated $12/ 50#. This was based on 1,000 lb. purchase of corn a month. $480 in the feed grinder= PRICELESS!
 
i purchase my feed from a local farmer.

grower= $19 for 100#
layer= $16 for 100#
crushed corn or seed wheat= $12 for 100#

freshly ground every three days, no preservatives or added colors. our chickens thrive on it.
 
I was clicking around the hatchery sites and came across 50lbs of organic layer pellets with shipping for $65. Who in the world would pay that much. Our Western Reserve supply sells it for 12.95 for 50 lbs. There for a while I had to pay $18 for 50 with the price spike.
