Where do you keep your brooders

My incubator is on the big kitchen counter so I can peek inside every few minutes and so my 8 yr old son can do the same... then the brooder box will be in the corner of the livingroom where I can keep an "entertained" eye on them til they feather out a bit...then out to the shed/garage because I'll have finished cleaning up a new area for a "grow out pen"... That's the plan and I'm sticking to it!

The incubator is in the living room so it can be checked often.

The brooder is in an open bay of my workshop. I stopped brooding chicks in the house long ago!

Hehe.....my brooder is in the dining room. I figured we should make them a little nervous. so far, no loud parties from the Brooder.....

Replaced the kids with the incubater and brooder in an extra bedroom.
(kids in thier 40's now lol)
After they feather out........we move to a small pen in the barn.
We have such a problem with rats, that it is worth the extra cleaning work to keep them safe in the house.
I made the brooders out of peg board held togeher with slip ties.............easy to break down when not in use.
Which is almost never as I think about it..............

Can brooders with a heater be kept outside with cover? I just purchased a Brower Brooder.

My incubator is in my closet and brooder in my master bathroom

Im thinking once my eggs hatch from incubator im going to keep them in a plastic storage box with holes cut out of lid for light and wire and outside during the day but inside at night. we are in Australia and we have summer here now temp outside is high 30s. that

Brooders are inthe spare bathroom...... well now Brooder Room Theire are 2 about 30 x 53 cages and 2 smaller boxes of babies!Bag of pine shaving inthe tub! Screens are over the little babies boxes(Im no carpenter as you can see.)

Lets see I have 3 6 ish week old serama in a brooder next to my chair , I have a broody hen in a make a pet taxi in a brooder made out of boxes next to that . I have my button quail tank on my desk with the adults in it and a tub with adult quail under my couch ( long story) I also have a tub with quail in my kitchen next to the counter , my adult serama in my dinning room and next to them a round plastic tub full of baby buttons . Oh and my silkie butter sleeps in a box on my bed

That's funny! My brooder is also an old plastic sink on legs with a heavy wire grate on top.
