Where does Mypetchicken get their chicks?

I haven't been able to find much info beside one post here that says Meyers is one of their partners from where they source chicks. Is it only Meyers or are there others, like small breeders/hatcheries? I haven't found anything on their site that says where they get chicks or if they breed them themselves. If they do breed some of their stock, shouldn't the npip number be easier to find?

I have only ever heard Meyers. All purebred chicks come from Meyers, and all mixed breeds they make themselves.

I dont know about that since then they probably wouldn't be NPIP.

The backyard breeders or mypet chicken? I thought was necessary to be npip to ship chicks across state lines?

If MPC is getting chicks that are from nonNPIP breeders, they cannot be NPIP. And you do have to be NPIP to legally ship over statelines

That's what I thought too, but idk...I've gotten chicks from them twice last year and this year and they are large good-looking birds, but that's the extent of my knowledge in this matter, lol
