Hi, i was just wondering if anyone knew where Orschelns' orders their chicks? I thought i saw something about Estes Hatchery possibly supplying them, but i wasn't sure.... I know I've gotten EE's from them before, and Estes doesn't list them, all i could find where brown egg layers. Unless I'm missing something...??

Our Orschelns in Lamar once told me they get them from Estes, but perhaps those in other areas get them from other hatcheries nearer to them. We are maybe an hour from Estes which is now in Mt. Vernon. We have gone there in person to get chicks. They don't have a big variety like Cackle does, and we've also driven there to get chicks. Is driving to Cackle a possibility for you?
I would ask your individual store.

Ours also get their chicks from Estes hatchery.
Estes does list Easter eggers on their website.
Funny though our orschelns lists them as ameraucana.
I've purchased probably 40 or 50 from them over the years and everyone I've had laid blue eggs.
