When it warms up, you wont see much of me here. But I will be checking in to see who is talking about who.

I would love to play in the dirt too but it is still too cold here. ONly I will be putting little green peas in ASAP!

You can do tons of stuff right now to get ready for planting. Buy your self a cheap pack of 100 little dixie cups - kid's bathroom size. Start your seeds now! Have plants ready to go in the ground instead of just poking seeds in a hole.

We tilled everything and added some organic matter and muck from the pigs and barn to get the soil on a head start.

By late April when I can actually start putting stuff in the ground my soil will be rich and ready.

Got green tomatoes growing... should be picking ripe tomatoes soon. Corn and zucchini are up, pepper plants from last year are producing (yeah no freeze!)

This week it'll be in the high 70s, next week in the high 80s. Hens have finally started giving eggs again.

3 week old chicks are gonna need a bigger brooder soon... messy little bounders.

Didn't plant peas this year, for some reason I've become allergic. go figure.

Chop, Chop

Isn't that what Hop Sing used to say? It's what my chairside says when my last patients of the day have arrived and she wants to be on her way home. ie... get drillin' and fillin'.
