They look like Green cheek conures to me. The second picture looks like a peach fronted conure. Do you know roughly how old they are? Conures can be very clingy depending on the bird both of mine went everywhere with me they were small enough they would sit on my shoulder and hide under my hair. They are definitely very social. They can be very loud also as i’m sure you have heard them scream before.
They are very young. Currently only 8-10 months old.
It really depends on the breed. Some conures like climbing, some like ground foraging, some like flying. They are all from a somewhat contained area (in their natural habitat), but have different habits. Mine (peach front) really enjoys climbing. She is in a cockatiel sized cage and she is "busy" all day "working" on her toy business. She gets a little upset if you disturb her while she is concentrating. What I have liked with birds her size, is to have a cage (birds like to protect their territory, so bigger isn't always better, too much to "protect"), but then I get the cute cockatiel playgrounds they have at petsmart. Add a little litter and they pretty much will hang out on it. Or I'll carry it to wherever I am hanging out so they can play. But they are so playful, they really will occupy themselves.
I have my budgie in a cage, but only because that's all I have room for and can afford. It's a flight cage though, not a tiny tabletop. I think bigger is always better. If you think about it, birds would be flying miles everyday to find food. Nothing can be as good as that, but I think they would love an aviary if you can afford to give them one.
