Please take the time to at least add your state to your profile.

When asking for help, or telling us something, it's really important you let us know what part of the country you are from.

Some parts of the country have green grass right now, and some unfortunate folks like me have 0 degree temps. Thanks for any profile updates.

This bears repeating.

If where you live is not a SECRET, it would be nice for your profile to show it. I am sure it will make the advice you get more appropriate!

In case you do not know where that info is stored - select "Profile" from the blue bar menu at the top and then select "Personal" from the menu at the left.

Oh, and you need to be logged on at the time.

Thanks.

I just figure if a profile doesn't have a location, the person doesn't want to reveal too much info on the web and I respect that decision.

Yes, I agree in principle.

But I have seen posts where the information is readily available in the body of the post, but not in the profile.

Which leads me to conclude they have overlooked the feature -or- cannot find the place to add it.

Putting a general location like "South of Boston, MA" isn't going to pinpoint anything. On some forums I belong to you have to fill in profile info with at least a general location - how can someone in Texas give me here in Massachusetts good advice? It's just common sense, no disrespect meant.
