Where oh where are the eggs?

So I'm thinking being it's winter, even in Florida, that my girls have slowed down. I'm seeing one or two eggs, that's it, a day.
Well I'm checking for my 10 week old chicks who are hiding under the coop. When what to my wonderous eyes do appear, an egg! No not just one egg many eggs.
I got a broom and started pulling them out, eleven eggs.

The little buggers have been hiding them from me. I marked them all and put them in a nest in the coop we'll see if someone wants to go broody and sit them.

I once found a dozen eggs in my neighbors compost pile. Another time I found 10 eggs at the base of my maiden grass. they sure are sneaky little devils.

That is soo weird I have never heard of anything like that!
