Where to add on

I’m needing to add more coop room due to some more chickens. This is what I have now. I’m trying to decide if I should add on to the side that already has a coop or build on the other side of the run. Any ideas? Thank you! If you are looking at the picture the coop is on the left hand side.

Depending on how many more chickens you're adding, maybe you'll need to add more space on both ends...a bigger coop and a bigger run?

oh please don't say that lol. 15 more chickens. Its pretty big and i only have 4 right now.

I gotta agree with @N F C . With nearly 20 chickens you're going to want a bigger coop AND run.

And do your chickens free range or are they confined to the run?

Without dimensions, no one can tell what you may need.

I didn't build it, it came with the property but I believe 24x12

they do free range but put up at night.

If your dimensions are correct (24X12) and the coop takes up half of that, you don't need to add anything. A 12X12 coop can easily hold 20 chickens and especially so given your climate and the fact that they free range.

The Coop is small maybe 4.x 6 so i want to make it larger so should i add on to the existing cop area? The run is the biggest part.
