hey quailbuddy,

I went to the place.Ittook me an hour but it was nice I got the things I needed and 4 quails. The problem is that they were not sure about the sex and as they could see the difference in the breast, they were not sure if its was male or female. So I have two dark feather and two light ones. I know the ideal would have been one mail and three females, but after driving for an hour I did not wanted to risk to have 3 males and a female. I will upload pics of all of them and maybe you quail experts can give me a hand.

Hi,

I got the Quails...they were not sure which was male and female and I decided to get 2 and 2. They were fighting and a raccon killed them all after a month. I am going again to get my Quails and I hope to be more carefull this time/

Perfect ratio!
May I suggest Jumbo brown Coturnix, they ars so mellow. My buttons & Bob-whites would panic & fly if I was 15 feet away. The JBC's I can walk into the pen & scoop them up. As far as care, I'd give them pine shavings. They love to wallow a hole & just lay around.

I want to buy in amazon a nice cage no wire on the floor but I am scare of the raccon digging to get them :S
