does any one know where to buy chickens in south Mississippi, south Alabama, or south Louisiana?

Try Craigslist, or google chicken breeders in those areas. TSC and Bomgaars would if it was chick days, but I think that's over now.
What kind of chickens are you wanting?

I want about a few different breeds. Every site I look at online the hatch dates do not match for the different breeds or you have to order 3 chicks per breed. So I though maybe somewhere more local, but I haven’t had any luck with that either.

Have you looked at Meyer? They have a good reputation from what I've read. Here's what they currently have available for the week of July 16:

According to their site, from April-Nov you can order a minimum of any 3 chicks of the standard size type.

Tractor Supply in Alabama is having their yearly “Chick days” so you can go there to purchase baby chicks. It’s is happening on the week of July 23rd. Although I don’t know which breeds will be available this time.

I second the Meyer's idea--I just got nine from them, including an olive egger. And they usually have Easter eggers and barred rocks available. Good luck!

Yeah that’s why I usually try to get chicks locally. But when I do order I love to buy from Meyer Hatchery. I can’t wait to go and get chicks from TSC on the 23rd! Though if you do use TSC always call before driving there because last year their chicks came in almost a week late.

Like HuskerHens18 said Craigslist. Just keep checking daily, some ads are only up for a day. Really not much sense in shipping from a hatchery if you can find chicks local. You'd be surprised how many people breed and hatch their own, I know I was the more I checked and see about any breed out there, especially if you have 4H or FFA kids out there showing them at local and state fairs (they don't have to be APA recognized breeds for these shows).
Sometimes I see young birds for free. Easier and cheaper sometimes to give them away if you don't want to process them yourself. Free they're gone that day, try to get $5-10 ea and maybe they sell, maybe you don't and a month or two later another $50 bill is lost in feed costs.
