where to find new home for hen-turned-roo??

I am not allowed to post an "ad" to try to find a new home for my hen that started crowing this morning on BYC since I do not have 20 posts yet. Anyone know how I can find a good home for this sweet, 14 wk old hen-turned-rooster? Craigs list (creeps me out), Murdoch's (will they help)? Any ideas would be great. We can't keep him now that he's crowing :-(

I haven't heard of Murdochs - around here our best option is Craigslist. Keep in mind that most people interested in taking him will be planning to eat him, so you might also considering taking that option for yourself.

There isn't a whole lot of call for Red Sex Link males. Sorry to say. Perhaps you can find a family who would need the food? That's often about the best thing. Murdoch's is a rural store on the line of TSC I take it.

@HeChicken-we hoped to find a home for him to be with some nice ladies, but we will be having a nice dinner if noone has a need for a rooster.

@Fred's Hens-Thanks for the info-I don't know much about what the demands for rooster are out there. I'm assuming it's because they are "muts" and can't do much but make good dinners out of 'em ;-) Murdoch's is this portion of Colorado's version of TSC.
