Where to find the cheapest hardware cloth for new run?

I got my hardware cloth from wayfair last spring, the 48 x 600 / 3 rolls cost me 180$ and free shipping..I think I used a 10% coupon code to.

At one point, I know their prices went sky high, but it looks like they are back down to a reasonable cost at 66$ for the above size. I don't think you'll find it cheaper. and it is well worth it. I am 'snake' paranoid, and I also have a run that's 12 x 20+ covered 1/2 with the hardware cloth, went with ondura roofing on 1/2 as well.

I have no worries using the hardware cloth, my run/coop is like Fort Knox or should I say Fort Pox:)

Glad I saw this post !! We had alot of storm damage after Sandy went through our area and we were looking for a place with reasonable prices for the repair job.

I've heard 2x4 welded wire will keep out predators just as good as hardware cloth in strength and its alot cheaper I thinks. Just line it with some chicken wire at the bottom to keep their heads in and other hands out.

Right now Amazon has a really good deal for the 36 x 100 feet (you will probably need 2) @ $83.27 instead of $154.99 free shipping. I got mine from there and never found cheaper anywhere else.

Wow - that's a great Amazon deal, I didn't see that the other day when I looked. When I looked the other day, there was no free shipping, only from vendors, and one cheap wire place turned out to charge almost $200 in shipping alone.

I ordered yesterday from Wayfair, between their free shipping and then I ordered the clearance rolls, which I believe are returned rolls but inspected and supposedly fine, it cost the same as the amazon deal.

Either way, those are great alternatives to big box stores, and I hope people realize they can get it cheaper.

We signed up for a deal on Amazon called "Amazon Prime". Anything that is a "Prime" item, we get FREE 2-day shipping. Lots of perks come with it. You have to pay a fee, but I guarentee we have re-couped that and thensome with the free 2-day shipping. Especially during the holidays. Not all items are part of the Prime deal, but many are. Sometimes I've had to pay a dollar or two more for the item (to get it from a Prime seller as opposed to a regular seller), but when you figure $15+ for 2-day shipping, it's still a much better deal! Especially if I can save myself a drive into town and back again!

I also have "Amazon prime" (for a year) but I didn't have to pay because I get a lot of stuff for the kids and there is this deal when you buy baby/kids stuff, they give you an extension. I love it!
