Getting new chicks in spring don't know breed yet open to suggestions. Would like another Dom Banty though. Have 1 EE bantam thus the reason for getting bantams. She had 2 other bantam friends who are now gone and the standards torture her. It's been 1 1/2 years no change. So building a small bantam coop for her and a few new friends. Hoping this works:he Would like to get some beauties for this little coop.

Just know that she may never accept the new Bantam Chicks in the spring. Fights could be your problem again.
Not worried about her accepting chicks. She is a broody thing. More worried about how things will go after the 2 month mark when she sees them nolonger as her chicks and as members of her flock. She seems almost scared of other chickens. In her 2 years of life she's only had 4 months of positive flock interaction.

Shouldn't be an issue really.

Hi There! Did you ever find your banties? I have a beautiful pair of Porcelain D'Uccles that need a new home. If you still want bantams (you said Spring?,) they're available as a pair. They're small, friendly and both took ribbons at our County Fair. Featherfoot, the pullet, is laying perfect, creamy little eggs ... and the cockerel, Fella, knows his name and walks on a leash!
