Where to get quality bloodlines of Black Copper Marans

Hey there,

I’d really love to add some dark, dark eggs to my basket and don’t want to get Marans from just anywhere. What are some trusted places to get chicks? I got a bcm from a local breeder and after a few weeks, her leg feathering disappeared...now at almost 12 weeks she has a partly yellow beak, no leg feathers, and some silverish leakage on her chest, so I have no idea what she actually is.
Would love some pointers as to where I should source some from. Thanks!
