Where to get small quantity heritage birds?

i have ordered from a place in ohio that is called heritage turkey hatchery. they were close and i didnt want 15 either. we picked them up and love them. the website is www.heritageturkeyhatchery.com they have so many types of turkeys i couldnt make up my mind on which ones i wanted

There are many hatcheries in Ohio.

Most hatcheries will allow you to pick up chicks (or poults). The minimum order is just for shipping safety and doesn't apply to chicks licked up at the hatchery.

You will not be allowed onto the grounds because of bio-security, but they will send someone out to the end of the driveway to hand over your birds if you make arrangements in advance.

You have to be there on hatch day. They can not hold chicks.
