Where to learn about genetics?

I have a VERY basic understanding of genetics in general. But I would like to learn about chicken color genetics. Could anyone recommend and good website or books, anything really to get me started? I have Googled a bit but most of what I can find are more advanced and I need basics. Like I understand equine genetics a bit and have found some very good sites that tell explain the colors and how they work with each other but I am having trouble finding this for chickens. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
