Where to test?

Does anyone know where I can test a chicken for Marek’s disease in RI or MA?
Or buy a mail test?
Cheaper test preferred…

First contact your state vet to ask if they have testing available. Most of the time, this is done after death when the state vet does a necropsy. They examine feather shafts and any tumor tissue found. But a few labs around the country will send you the material needed to collect a blood sample from a trimmed toenail, and you return it to them for a pcr test for Mareks. I believe it costs about $40-50 for this lab in TX:
