Where'd my new av go?

I changed my avatar last night, and it was displayed for several posts (someone even commented on it). But today, at my office (SHHH, don't tell my boss), the old avatar, the cartoon, is showing.

I'm hoping there wasn't something offensive or wrong about the new one? It was a photo of a snarly poodle. MY snarly poodle.

Thanks! OK, so it's my computer here at work? How is that possible? I mean, I understand about clearing my cache of "cookies," and all, and will do that now, but...I just wouldn't have thought it was possible for one computer to store a part of an internet application????

I am so computer stupid, it saddens me.
