@Brooks_ weird?!?!? But yeah It depends on the family. My mama always makes her homemade mac and cheese and other stuff to the potlucks. But other folks either don't have it or just get the boxed stuff

@Brooks_ There is always going to be homemade baked Mac and cheese at any Thanksgiving, Christmas, or pretty much at any other kind of occasion that involves food here. It is as much a staple at Thanksgiving as turkey or cornbread dressing.

The real question here is why would you find that weird?

The real question here is why would you find that weird?

It does seem weird to me unless it's for the kids table
