Where's the grammar police??

I don't think anyone was judging anyone else with this thread.

I don't give a rat's patootie how much education a person has, or doesn't have. Some of the smartest people I've known have had very little education while some of the most highly educated have in every day life, been dumb as a box of rocks.

What I see, or at least it appears that way to me, is a lot of laziness to even try and put in a period or a capital letter.

This is on ONLINE forum. We rarely or never get to meet in person. Therefore, the only way we can make judgments on who you are is by what you say and how you say it. Oh wait, can that statement be construde as "flaming"? Don't want to hurt anyone else's feelings here. I didn't realize we were such a nation of "sensitive souls" where no one can have an opinion for fear of "hurting" someone else's feeelings.

I have some participation trophies in case we need those along with the kleenex....

The thing that bothered me was the hypocritical aspect of the OP , otherwise I could care less. I'm just of the mind that if you want to criticize others' spelling, punctuation and grammar at least get your own right!

I went back and read the original post. I didn't think she was being hypercritical. She was just pointing out proper usage of some words.

Come on ! Read the second post ! The title to the thread had an error in it ! It should read "Where are the....." instead of " Where's the..." which stands for where is the grammar police. I'm done with this thread.
