I bought a LG and set it up in our bathroom in the house. I figure if i have a egg explode or leak i got the exhaust fan in there to help get rid fo the smell plus when we take showers it helps with the humidity. I have yet to add water to it and Humidity has stayed at 47% lowest it has gotten was 45%. Wife wasn't happy but oh well. We have a Cabinet Bator that we built from a falling apart Sportsman it was from the stone age but it worked for years till this year. We kept it in our feed building and well the rats decided they needed the wires to chew on. I just don't have alot of time to rewire it right now so we picked up the LG from TSC. I set 18 bantam dom's, 6 silver sebrights and 10 white leghorn's on April 9th. I candled this morning and all were looking good. nice veins devlopment in them.

I have 4 Hova-Bators going in my bedroom, a hatcher and several brooder pens in my attached bathroom. My posh pink bathroom is a chicken/duck maternity ward! HaHaHa!

Mine is in my bedroom. You should make sure that taking a hot shower doesn't drive the temperature up too high. I maintaion two little giants right now, and yes, they will hatch eggs. However, do they do a good job? No. I have had 100% hatches with mine, and I have had 0% hatches. If the temps in the room fluctuate even the slightest bit, you have to run to your LG's and adjust the rheostat. Mine have fried Ducks, Turkeys, Quail, Chickens, and Guineas over the past five or so years. Some even on hatch day. Also, if you get a bad cold front in the middle of the night, expect the incubator to be in the 80 - degree range when you wake up.
^ Those have just been my experiences, they are useable, but barely. I prefer Havobators and GQF's. I hope that you have good luck with yours.
*One last thing, I suggest investing in a good digital thermometer if you do not already have one. I bought a 14.00 one at Walmary, and it is inaccurate. Also, there have been two types included with the LG's over the years - thermos with the glass part glued to the piece of paper/plastic (The piece that has the lines and numbers) and they have come stapled. The glued one works fine, until the glue wears off. Then it is inaccurate. The stapled one has a tendancy to slide on it's paper, causing inaccurate readings.
Happy Hatching!

Tucked in a corner of our kitchen. We have a King Suro, and this thing keeps temps and humidity rock solid, no matter how the room fluctuates, so we found an out of the way corner of our kitchen to put it in.

Makes it really convenient to check on, and also is great to be able to watch hatches-- we really like having it in a central location in the house!

I am using the Digital Thermometer Hygrometer from Incubator Warehouse. We used it in our cabinet bator it keeps low and high temps and humidity levels in memory. I have the A/C vent closed off and keep the door shut to the bathroom. I have a thermometer in the room and it stays between 72-78 in there everytime i check it i set everything up for a week before putting eggs in to make sure i had no major temp spikes. I believe i got all my T's Crossed and I's Doted. Once i get my Cabinet back going ill used this LG for something im sure but it should get me by I like it so far and i have a few family members that only used LG and they love it. Time will tell.

Oh, everywhere. I have a huge cabinet in the living room. A hovabator on the kitchen counter. Thats right now. Next week, one or two additional hovabators will be in various places... other kitchen counter, kitchen table, living room table, etc., lol.
