Wheres your bator at?

My homemade bator is in a walk-in pantry off my kitchen. It's the most stable room in the house, temperature wise. It's my first try with this so I'm testing ten of my own eggs in there before I spend money on eggs I really want. I just took out the turner and went into lockdown a few minutes ago. The only problem I can see with it's location is that hubby and I don't both fit in that tiny room at the same time, so we'll have to take turns watching the hatch!

We will raise ours Bantams up to bout 8 months or so then we will pick out what meets breed standard the best and keep a few of each breed and the rest we sell at the shows we go too. The white leghorns are my dads and the hens will be next years layers and the roosters will be fryers.

When using an LG this winter we had it in the bedroom because it is the only room in the house we keep at a steady temp. I now have a big lab grade Precision bator in the dining room.

We have our chickens that we got last year as day old chicks. They all grew up and are laying great. Since I have been on BackYard Chickens and watched other people hatch their eggs thought it would be fun. So we borrowed an incubator and have some eggs comming next week. A few different breeds that looked interesting. Im still trying to figure out how to use this website. I will get the hang of it eventually

We have ours in the living room, next to the TV. We spend much more time watching the incubator than the television

The temperature is the most stable in this spot and it's out of the way so we don't trip over it.

Mine is in our guest bedroom...guests? Well, they may have to put up with the sound of the incubator, or, sleep on the couch?
