Whew!

Whew! Man! Duck water STINKS! I went up to the water to clean it out and when I was done my hands stunk like crazy!

Yes, it's definitely not the cleanest in the world, i clean mine almost everyday this keeps things much fresher.

I use two-gallon stew pots and dump, wipe and refill daily. And in the warm weather, they still look a bit - ghastly in the morning. But with the stew pot, they cannot as easily climb in, so there is only mud and feed and bedding in it, not so much poo.

As for the swim pans, well, hmmm, mmmm. The garden loves the poop soup! Quite aromatic sometimes, again especially in warm weather.

Yeah, in a day my couple gallon pool for the ducks got dirty the day after I washed it out! Man those ducks are messy! But there still my favorite farm bird that I know of

. I love them so much, I mean. besides there water problems, what's wrong with them?

Well. I have parakeets instead of ducks now but I'm still breeding something so I'm still happy!
