Whey?

I just picked up 5 chickens today. I'm wondering if/how to use whey that I drain off of home made yogurt. Should I mix some with crumbles or put a water dish full out for them periodically? In the past the whey went to my hairdresser's pig but I'd like to be able use some for the chickens.

We just put it out in a pan for them to drink. They really like it. I think that it is very good for them. Oh and by the way
