Which breed is your favorite/ VERY nice?

For friendly/snuggly I second white Cochin and white Silkie, if you need pure white birds; if black hackle feathers are acceptable, light brahmas are also extremely sweet, and are fair layers (~3 - 5 eggs/bird/week).

If a little black is acceptable and you want tons of eggs, you may want to consider a Delaware as well.

Thanks! And yes, I know about Amerucana's! I have one, Bell'e shes a year and like 7 months old, and shes so adorable!

But shes the secodn to the top in the pecking order.. but she's the first of the coop (We got her first)

Oh my gosh thanks guys! I just talked to my dad abotu a Delaware, he said its PERFECT!

And I'm thinking about getting a D' uccle, their so cute ^^
