Love the chick pics! I know I am going to be experimenting a little myself, but do not plan on doing any separate cage breeding - so it is going to be a guessing game as to who is the sire of the chicks!
Here is a pic of the black broiler we kept out of the group we butchered. He was the most colorful. He is 18 weeks old today (we call him Copper) and is looking good! If he doesn't get too big and his health stays good, I may keep him

He doesn't have any spurs - just little bumps! But he is starting to act like a rooster, tellin the hens when he finds food and he is starting to show an interest in the girlies!
