I'm making biscuits but my rolling pin has disappeared. $5 says that my kids took it to roll out Play-Doh.

Ive never used a roller for biscuits. Fold, fold push fold, fold push done. Flaky layers. My last batch a few days ago I used a tad too much baking powder and had a couple bites of what I'd imagine poison to taste like lol. Nasty

I know it's possible but it sounds miserable to get there.

Once you’re spoiled to having a/c, it would be terrible to go back. I could do it but prolly run my bottom lip out for a while. We were born into it and didn’t know any different.

And yes, I have the thermostat set to 80 in the day. Because I hate ac and it's not often it gets that high in the house.

Why do you hate AC?

1. Because I hate cold.
2. Because I hate spending money on utilities.

I hate going into buildings were the ac is blasting and makes me feel like I need to go outside to warm up.

I don't like to be cold but I like to be cool.
We try to be sensible about paying for utilities. We usually just have one AC on during the one that's in the main part of the house. And then we turn on the ones in our bedrooms about an hour before bedtime.

We got one of those smart thermostats for our ac and it knocked about 50.00 - 60.00 off our bill a month. 78 during the day when we're working and 70 when we're home. Sometimes I'll set to 69 for bed. I like it cold at night. She first set it to 85 or something during the day but the problem was cooling it down. The compressor basically never stopped it was a bit much on the unit so we put it down some. And the looks I got when I got home I don't think the cats liked it either
