What's a flight cage versus an aviary?
A flight cage is usually smaller than an aviary.
It between a breeder cage and an aviary. They can fly back and forth the length of the cage with out too much air time. In an aviary they usually have a longer flight time. It also depends the size of the bird. A flight cage for an Amazon is a breeder cage for a Macaw.
Hope that helps.❤

I have always kinda wanted a Cockatoo.
Cockatoos are playful, and funny, loving and beautiful. But at the same time, when they sexually mature and at.d times before that, they will get will start to get loud. They do not like changes of routines and demand your attention and will scream because of it. Their screams will tear your eardrums. It's not just one screen they will perform a marathon of screams for up to 40 minutes if they want to.
They are also prone to feather pulling. I do not recommend them as pets..they are beautiful to look at but that's about it.

Yes I've seen their fits. A good friend of mine in houston has one who only likes him, it will bully other people. It'll cuss you out for looking at it for more than five seconds, I was yelled at by this bird for drawing breath🤣, he absolutely hates other people and will vocalize his anger in the most shocking volume.
I've never seen a more disagreeable creature, but I still loved it for some reason😂🤷🏻‍♀️

My sister had one a long time ago. They're just like kids, best when able to be given back to thier owners after a while
That's where I'm uneasy. I would love to have one, but I don't really want to buy one from a breeder, getting a rescue is an appealing idea to me, but I can only imagine how a bird who creates such strong attachments would behave when removed from it's original home and owner. And then what would I do if I didn't like it?

My sister ended up giving or selling I don't know to her mother in law. I don't know what happened or how it went I was a teen so a couple years ago. I'd imagine she visited often.
