She's cute.
Does she use her wing normally? Have you noticed?

Not really. That was how I noticed. She didn't seem like she really wanted to be held, when usually she is pretty snuggly, and kind of struggled and fell out of my hands! I picked her up to let her hop back into the brooder and it didn't seem like she had her wings working for her properly to flutter down and land nicely. Later, when all the other big ones were playing on the floor outside the brooder, she was the only one who stayed back, too.

Thanks, she's my sweet little broody girl. When I brought the Welsummers in, two weeks younger, she was the one who played mama hen, snuggling them and keeping them warm.

I wore a safety helmet and face shield

I won't weed eat in shorts or flip-flops, and I'm lucky if I put down my sunglasses.

It's obviously excessive for weed whacking. I believe my husband got it for when he cuts trees down but the face shield is nice to have when trimming.

Mask, gloves, full protective clothing (because arc burn is a b**ch)

grinding:
safety squints and a face mask (because death wheel) Standard safety protocols for remainder of clothes (tees. shorts, sandals)

Lawn care, all:
shorts, tees, sandals, sunglasses, hat.

We die like men.
