I never asked a hummingbird how many parts of what was in nectar. They stick their little beaks in the flower and slurp it out. Easy as letting broody hens hatch your eggs.

Yes, it’s true that mother nature provides the best food for hummingbirds but they do also enjoy visiting hummingbird feeders as well.

Yep.. sometimes the ratio can be 3:1.. depends how sugary the hummingbirds around your house like it. My mom's birds like the 3:1 better than 4:1

I just add more water during hot weather and more sugar during cold weather.
