Ugh, my new washer and dryer take forever to do a load of laundry! On a normal cycle with no fancy features turned on, it's a two hour cycle, minimum! The dryer is minimun an hour and 15 mins. My old washer was an old fashion top loader, not high effiency. That thing was a beast, I miss it already

i guess i can see missing what you’re used to, but is speed a big concern when you’re doing laundry?

I'm sorry to hear that. Sounds super disappointing and annoying.
I haven't had one, but I hardly hear any good things about high efficiency washers. We definitely don't want one for ourselves because we read they're not great on really tough dirt and, with our homestead and Diego's work, we need a washer that's going to clean our clothes properly.

I do laundry once a week. I like to get it all done in one day. Speed matters when I have to stay up to flip the laundry
