The few years that we had our four guineas free-ranging certainly seemed less ticky. And that was with just four.

But there’s literally nothing but mountains and scenery in WA, so I can’t expect to have seen a tick here.

It isn't mountains that attract ticks -- from what I can tell, they like woodlands and tall grass and stuff. Lots of places to hide and lots of animals to mooch off of.
