One of those little crab spiders. Or poop.

I was also thinking poop.

Not that I spend all day thinking about poop, but it is certainly a major factor in my life.

I'm sure I would enjoy the museums and such, I just don't think I could tolerate the city at all. I don't even go downtown here (town ~100k).

My daughter moved to Manhattan right after she graduated from high school. We visited her a few times. It was fun to visit, but I could never, ever, ever live there. It was exhausting.

My husband went to NYC years ago. He said he couldn't breathe. I would have to agree, I have no desire to even visit

Some sort of lacewing larvae?
If that is not it, my next guess would be a lichen covered egg sac of some sort, or a mantis ooth I haven't ever seen.
