I don't know about anyone else but I prefer honesty.
If someone doesn't like me I would rather know than find out later that they've been talking bad behind my back the whole time.

And if you know that they don't like you and why, then you can actually talk things out potentially and change it. As opposed to the other scenario where people pretend to like each but actually can't stand each other and never resolve the issue.
