Back in the early 90's till may 95 I had a 16x20 2 story building with a shelf 4' off the ground the entire width and length. The shelf had incubators and under it on the floor all the way around was brooders. I had green, blue, and white peafowl, grey and hatch gamefowl, swinehoe, copper, blue eared, white crested kalij, silver, lady Amherst, and reeves pheasants, California valley quail, and Rex rabbits. Oh and a pair of emus.
It was like a zoo people would stop all the time for a tour

Fast forward to today

I've downsized a bit

On the flip side the emus were like dogs. So social and super curious. The sheriff's office came by the station one day an Said an emu was on the loose. They came and got me to go catch it since I knew how to do it. You can't manhandle them with that giant nail on thier toe. I would corner them somehow and when the ran past me grab one small wing then spin around and grab the other and walk them from behind wherever you wanted to take them
