No, pretty sure its lamb. My aunt has horror stories about going to a market to get it (cause she couldn't find it anywhere else) and they gave her a whole frozen lamb, fleece and all.Are you getting it mixed up with mutton?
I've never had that issue eating lamb but I've heard mutton is like that.
