It was really really bad for them. Life and death situation. It is not just that the people are unprepared for it. It is that nothing is prepared for it. The infrastructure is not built or prepared for it. And, it is just a different thing totally from what the North gets.

I'm honestly not sure if the Great Dane is a good fit for the farm. She's got an insane prey drive
With the cats she is WAYYY too playful, and anything that squeaks is in danger of being charged at.
