I know. But then they could move to the mammoth after they do that successfully. Plus wouldn’t it hurt the horses and other animals? Or it would benefit them?

I know it said it would bring grasslands back and help climate change and all that but surely they would compete for grazing grounds? Stomp out the horses? Then again maybe not since elephants and zebras seem to get along fine.

Mammoths didn't just live in the arctic. It would be a terrible idea to bring them back. They wouldn't be able to coexist with current animals. Once extinct, should stay extinct
