Not such a fan of it myself. I know it's not meant in a creepy way but it can definitely come off creepy. Because those are terms reserved for people in a relationship up here I guess?

I guess it was all the way around
There was that issue then she has (or had I may just be used to it ) a Kentucky back woods accent that is very clear when she says anything with ight or ite like white, bright, fight etc. Then when I went up there and talked to people I could see it in their face they didn't know what I was saying. I Have a tendency to start talking fast and not completing one word before starting the next so I had to make it a point to slow down and stop a word then start another. I remember like it was yesterday " you got to slow down we can't understaaaaand youuu. " I don't have a southern accent too bad but a very strong dialect. In louisiana we have different dialects dependent on what area we come from. Some stronger than others

She also had a fear of the "scary movie trees " at first too. I live in the typical southern scary movie swamp scene with all the live oaks with the moss hanging all over them. She got over that

They're shooting movies around here all the time. They'll have signs with arrows from the interstate and down the streets directing where crew go or extras or production catering etc and they'll have the acronym of the movie being shot so now it's her mission to figure out what one is being shot in a given area

@Overo Mare @ColtHandorf look look! After 3 years my hosta finally decided it's time to bloom
